Kathmandu. Nepali media personality and world record music video director Rajendra Luitel (Raj) has been honored by the prestigious Indian organization Universal Book of World Records. At a grand ceremony held in Nepal, the Chairman of the National Assembly, Honorable Narayan Prasad Dahal, Chairman of the Finance Committee and Member of the House of Representatives Santosh Chalise, Chairman of the Commerce and Supplies Committee and Member of the House of Representatives Abdul Khan, the head of the organization and Chief Editor of The Abrils Times Dr. Shikha Narula, and senior journalist of India Manish Singh presented Luitel with the certificate.

Luitel, who recently won the Best Video Director award at the ‘Genius Music Award’ held in Nepal and the ‘Himalayan International Award’ held in Thailand and the 9th National Capital Award, is also busy with video production. Raj, who managed to make his name in the Guinness Book of World Records by making the highest music video, was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Indian Television Award in Mumbai, India, a few months ago.

Indian news media reported that he was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in recognition of his contribution to the expansion and development of Nepal-India diplomatic relations through journalism, having been in various media for almost two decades.

Luitel, who joined the media through print journalism, is currently the head of Rastrakhabar.com, Rastrakhabar Patrika and Pageant Nepal. Luitel, who is also the vice-chairman of the Program Management Association Nepal, has been honored by Guinness World Records, America World Records of Books, European World Records, British World Records of Books, and in India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Seva Samman, International Youth Icon Award India, Mahatma Gandhi International Award India, International Peace Award, India, Indo Nepal Journalism Award and other world-renowned organizations.
