Swastima Khadka was born and raised in Kathmandu. She completed her SLC from Birendra Sainik School of Bhaktapur. She completed her Architecture from Thapathali Campus. She was interested in modeling but was not in plans of movie in first but when she entered from the movie named Hostel returns then after she went on high in the film industry. Her video named baby kuchi kuchi and and hunny bunny was really viral in the internet. She became popular in Nepali film industry then she married to Director Nischal Basnet. As she was crush of many youths she was named with the tag of ‘Raastriya Bhauju’after she got married.
