Kathmandu. In the seventh edition of the ‘ISA International Awards’ organized by the International Singer Songwriters Association (ISA) in the United States every year, famous Nepali lyricist Lokraj Adhikari has been selected in the top 20 in two categories in the final competition.

Lyricist Adhikari from Nepal was nominated in two categories, ‘Songwriter of the Year’ and ‘Music Video of the Year’ for the song ‘Zindagani Ke Chha Ra’.

Out of 61 people competing in the ‘Songwriter of the Year’ category and 36 in the ‘Music Video of the Year’ category under 21 international categories, lyricist Adhikari has been selected in the top 20 through electronic voting.

The organizers have sent a “red carpet” invitation to lyricist Adhikari for the final to be held in Atlanta, USA on August 24. Dozens of songs composed by lyricist Adhikari include ‘Timile Parai Thane Pachi’, ‘Rupai Mohini’, ‘Baja Bajaaye’, ‘Marchu Baru Chhatpatima’, ‘Hepni Malai Hepni’, and ‘Rupauli Rani’.

He has also written the theme song for this year’s superhit movie Anjila, which says “Yo Dekho Jhanda Bishwa Samu Farfaranu Cha”.
