Singer Tripti has been awarded the ‘Best Female Singer’ award

Kathmandu. Popular singer Tripti Khadka Gurung has won the Best Female Singer award at this year’s ninth National Capital Awards.

At the special ceremony organized at the Nepal Tourism Board in Bhrikutimandap in the capital, she won the Best Female Singer award for the song ‘Timro Jhajhalko’ sung by her. Himal Sagar was the male singer who won the award.

The video of the song, which has been viewed more than 1.1 million times, was made public on the Hari Ufreti official YouTube channel in 2081 BS.

The special guests of the ceremony, former Chief Minister and House of Representatives member Rajendra Pandey, former minister and Bagmati Province member Dipendra Shrestha, and senior vice president of the Film Artists Association Shivahari Nepal ‘Bairagi’, presented the award to singer Tripti in that category.

Active in the music field for more than a decade and a half, singer Tripti has released more than 500 songs in the market. Singer Tripti, who also composes music, has given her attractive performances more than a thousand times at various events in the country and abroad, including stage shows.

After her first folk pop song ‘Baishale Matiye’ gained popularity, she started getting busy in stage shows.

Tripti, who has been winning awards in various categories, continues to win the hearts of millions of viewers with her magical voice. Many of Tripti’s songs, who is also the director of Saregam Studio, have succeeded in staying in the hearts of the viewers.

Just yesterday, her new song ‘Timro Dhadkan’ was released on her own YouTube channel.
