Kathmandu – Singer Sumi Parajuli has won the ‘Best Stylish Singing Award’ for the song ‘Maya Garne Tarika’ at the 9th National Capital Awards 2081. She has established her own identity in the Nepali music industry through this award.

The song ‘Maya Garne Tarika’ presented in Sumi’s voice had gained special popularity among the audience and listeners. Sumi Parajuli was supported by famous singer Pratap Das as the singer. The jury selected her for this award saying that her singing style, expression and presentation in the song were very impressive.

The National Capital Awards, which are held to honor the contribution of the music industry and to encourage talented artists, were presented with awards in various categories this year. Sumi Parajuli’s name has become a special attraction this year.

At the award ceremony held at the Nepal Tourism Board, senior vice president of the Film Artists Association Shivahari Nepal ‘Bairagi’, organizing committee chairman Madhav Nirdosh, model and actress Jharana Risal, and female entrepreneur Sangita Shakya presented the award to singer Sumi.

While accepting the award, she said, “This honor has inspired me to sing better songs and continue to pursue music. Thank you to everyone who supported me in making my journey easier.”
