The shooting of the Nepali action-thriller film ‘Kalmandu’ has recently been completed. The film, which is being produced under the banner of Movie Land Nepal, has been written and directed by Sayanam Adhikari.

The film, which was shot over a period of 35 days, was shot in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, and the Thori area of ​​Parsa. Director Adhikari said that its story is about exposing the dark side of Kathmandu, human trafficking, murder, kidnapping and crime. “Based on the story of a brother fighting criminals in search of his 19-year-old sister, ‘Kalmandu’ is made in the action, thriller and suspense genre,” the director said.

The film will star Gajit Bista, Anjan Thapa, Anilraj Poudel, Rajan Adhikari, Alisha Bastola, Roshni Karki, Lalna Chimaria, Sugat Karanjit, Vishal Pahari, Rakesh Kalagain, and Shiva Adhikari. The cinematography is done by Pawan Susling, while the fight direction is done by Raju Lama and Mr. Kazi. The music will be composed by Samrat Neupane. Subash Timalsina is responsible for the makeup and SFX. The film, produced by Kamal Thing, is being managed by Shambhu Shrestha and Milan Katwal. The assistant director is Ravi Bhujel. The production team has set a target of releasing the film in 2082 BS.
